Participants from the first ever Intrepid WOD

Go ladies!!

It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally at Intrepid’s next milestone: first group WOD!  Thank you all for coming out and joining us! Everyone came out and crushed the WODs! Helen and Jake came in first with a two second lead on Chip and Holly. I thought it was rather unfair to put two runners on the same team, but oh well! Serena and Avelyne (self-dubbed Asian Persuasion) crushed the WOD and didn’t even look tired during it. Check out Avelyne’s perfect POSE technique in the pics on Facebook. Serena just moved into So Cal Tuesday and wasted no time in getting herself to a CrossFit WOD! Greg and Jayne worked perfectly as a team and gamed it well. Bobby and Quatro were intensely coaching each other through the burpees and maneuvered that mad corridor, even if Bobby had to manhandle a few of his teammates! Murphy and Nanie also gamed it well and split up the movements according to their strengths!

Eggs In One Basket

In Teams of Two, complete:
50 Push Ups
50 m run,
50 Step Ups
50m run
50 Jumping Squats
50m run
50 Burpees
50m run
50 Mountain Climbers
50m run

During each run, one partner runs to one hula hoop, picks up a ball, runs back and passes it to their partner, who them runs 50m to drop in the other hula hoop. First team with all their balls in the other hoop wins. Winning team gets one month free membership at Intrepid!
