Sadly, today we say goodbye to one of our first and most dedicated members. Helen has faithfully attended all but one class during her stay in El Segundo. She attacks each WOD with a joyful fury and her dedication to CrossFit is incredibly contagious. She almost convinced Michael to skip his one minute rest during FGB and roll right into the next round! Helen has also upped the ante for many a member during workouts. Just ask Jake about those burpees or Greg about those Tabata Sit Ups!! Her brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Angela, put this incredible video together of our Fight Gone Bad WOD!! We’ll miss you, Helen! Come back and visit us soon!

The efforts and intensity displayed on Saturday’s Fight Gone Bad WOD was inspiring to behold. Michael is to be commended because not only was this his first time doing FGB, it was his first EVER CrossFit workout! Everyone pulled double duty as coaches, encouraging their partners through the workout by counting reps and ensuring that their partners complete the full range of motion!

Great workout everyone!! I love the camaraderie inherent at CF. I couldn’t get through Fight Gone Bad or most of the WODs without the support, encouragement, and verbal beratement!!
Looking forward to the new box and many painful, sweaty, fun WODs together!
