Hold the Nuts

If any of you have spent any time around Paleo eating CrossFitters, you would have heard the likes of nut butters affectionately compared to crack cocaine. Well, what if by chance you have tree nut allergies? There are many alternatives to getting your good fats in such as avocado, olive oil, and your omega-6′s, but none are quite the same as that delectable nut butter.
One solution that I’ve encountered (and taste tested) is Sunbutter, which is made from sunflower seeds grown in a region where in the northern region of the country where peanuts can’t grow, further reducing the risk of cross-contamination. Every batch of it is tested for the presence of peanuts using the Neogen ALERT test which can detect peanut contamination at 5 parts per million.
Sunbutter comes in Creamy, Natural, Natural Crunch, & Organic. Organic is the only one that I’ve found that does not contain added sugars, and is the recommended choice. However, it may be a bit bland for some and adding a dash of cinnamon can help!

5:33 @ today’s WOD if I recall correctly. Serena said she got 4:07, so I’ll just assume she cheated.

Don’t hate, Marcus.
I did not cheat and I’m willing to show you, if you are nice to me, the mastery behind my attack of today’s WOD. Additionally, as you may have witnessed once before, I can pump out 10 pu without blinking. (However, 10 is pretty much my limit for push-ups before I tire)
BTW – I’m paying for the intensity of my squats from today’s WOD and Monday’s thrusters right now. I’m icing down my legs, esp my quads, which woke me up in the middle of the night, throbbing from the inflammation. Wow…this is crazy
