He Said, She Said

Usually, in a conflict, there are always three sides to a story: his, hers, and the truth. In the case of CrossFit, when camps form and dogma rears its ugly head, it’s important to remember that between one technique and another is the technique that is best for you. Since we are not anatomically made with cookie cutters, there may be compromises made for some lifts.
Like Kelly Starrett says, most of us come to CrossFit with lots of junk. And I’m not talking about the good kind in the trunk. I’m talking about the build up of gristle and scar tissue we’ve collected over the years. With that said, we’ll keep that in mind and prescribe the safest way for you to lift as much as you possibly can.
What I love about CrossFit is the coming together of so many great minds. We have the opportunity to pull from a wealth of knowledge from subject matter experts from every field imaginable. All the better for us to help you become the very beasts you were meant to be.
