Mark’s Daily Apple recently blogged about how to choose your booze wisely. If you’re going to jump off the Paleo Wagon to imbibe, is one alcohol less evil than the next? With the holidays coming up, there will inevitably be parties loaded with tempting cheats and liquor. Hopefully this article will help you make a more informed decision as you dive in!

He also included a recipe for a Paleo Daquiri that sounded amazing: Berry Daiquiri. Apparently adding alcohol to berries increases their antioxidants by 30%!

Berry Daiquri

Pureed berries of choice (he liked blackberries and strawberries).
Dash of lemon or lime juice
Brandy
Add ice, and blend.

For a bigger punch, brandy the berries first!

here’s how i choose booze…. open the fridge and look and see whats in there. or when i get to the bar i ask, “whats on special?”… lucky for me it’s usually some pabst blue ribbon
