A few weeks ago, a friend of mine suggested a quaint little restaurant in El Segundo for lunch. Knowing that I’m “ridiculously picky” (as she puts it), she said it had a delightful fresh and healthy menu. The Farm Stand, conveniently located on 422 Main Street comes with easy parking and is open
As soon as you sit down, ask them to hold the bread but bring the olive oil duo, one of which is infused with jalapeno cilantro and the other with ancho chili. The oil is so good, it’s really tough to resist dipping the bread in it, so ask them to bring out a side of roasted veggies and use that to dip.
Their menu also offers Gluten Free and Dairy Free choices, which makes it rather easy for us. Try their Mediterranean Salad (hold feta) which is fantastic, as well as their Herbed Ground Chicken dish and Eggplant Beef Stew. They’re happy to sub rice for veggies or salad, by the way.

By the way, we went to Farm Stand last night and I got the Naked Burger with roasted veggies. It was reasonably priced at $11.50 and its portions were huuuuge. Get the burger cooked medium rare, it’s so yummy!
