May Challenge: The Triple Threat

This month, we’ll be testing our athletes in strength, body-weight strength ratio, and cardiovascular endurance. As of now, we’ll be looking for a top male and top female athlete to “share” the Cup for the month. The challenge will consist of:
Max Deadlift
Max Strict Pull Ups
400m Sprint
Rules:
1. You get 3 attempts at a 1 rep max deadlift
2. You get 1 attempt at max rep pull ups. Bands allowed for pull up scaling. However, in the even of a tie, it will go to the lightest band used.
3. Winner is determined by placement (example, if you finish 2nd in the DL, 3rd in PU, 1st in Sprint, 2+3+1=6. Lowest score wins).
4. Ties in deadlift and pull up will be determined by bodyweight (lower for deadlift, higher for pullup).
**Also May 22nd, we’ll be caravaning post-wod down to Al and Michelle’s for a BBQ and birthday bash. Save the date and details to follow!**
