Drank Kool-Aid: April 2010
Favorite Lift/Movement: Wall Ball Shots & any movement with a barbell
Least Favorite Movement:Jump rope & pull-ups b/c she, “doesn’t like Sean having to help her into the band everytime”
Favorite WOD: Linda and Nancy look fun but she hasn’t done them yet.
Least Favorite WOD: Anything with jump rope and/or pull-ups
CrossFit Goals: unassisted pull-up and to gain overall strength
Best CrossFit Accomplishment: Working on her squat to the point where she could drop it lower than the young girls she danced with at a friend’s wedding! YOU GO GIRL!
Sandi, Marcus’s Mom, came to the grand opening event in March, loved the energy and camaraderie and joined the AM crew in April after her foundations classes. A former race walker, Sandi’s enthusiasm has been excellent every time she’s in the gym. She pushes herself to her mental and physical limits every workout and has seen marked improvements in her strength and overall fitness in the short few months she’s been with us. Sandi has been sighted enjoying herself at the recent Stagecoach festival and has been rumored to have been given the high-roller treatment at numerous Colorado casinos. Sandi enjoys traveling and will be taking off soon to spend much of the summer in Michigan. Our morning classes won’t be the same without her, but I’m confident that she’ll find a way to practice her squats, box jumps, and push-ups while on the road and pick up right where she left off when she returns. Wish Sandi a happy birthday and safe travels!

Sean,
Have a super weekend and enjoy your birthday! Since you inspire so many on the right coast you should be receiving a PCHS “300″ tshirt soon. It was a gift from the kids who completed the 300 challenge last week. I made them with Jack’s help… It is the only tshirt I let in my class with the sleeves cut off. Every one who completed the challenge received a tshirt. There were 18 kids who completed the challenge. It was sending me back to marathon runs you vs Jill and you beat her… The family looks forward to calling you this weekend!

Happy Birthday Sandi!! You rock!!
Sleep challenge?? Rrrrrr…..off to a rough start. 12:30-6:15, typical night for me. Not good. Soooo hard to get home from CF, take some down time, cook dinner, try to dent the 100 things on my To Do List, and make it to bed by 11.

I hear you, Scott. Same goes for me. The routine post-CF is a long one, but I put off whatever was put-off-able (i.e. uploading all vids from May Challenge–sorry!) and tried like hell. It’s hard to go lights out without at least 15-30 minutes of ‘inactivity’ or ‘wind-down’ time. Investing in a slow cooker helped to ease back on the frequency of cooking meals, though…

Actually it was more like 10:00-10:38 then yelling at me to turn the TV off… then 10:39 to 6:30. Does she get any extra points for yelling at me?
