Got your attention? Well, a while back, Sean posted about BPA and its effects as well as the advantages (both to your wallet and to the Earth) of BPA-free water bottles, be they stainless steel or polycarbonate.

If those weren’t reasons enough, how about this new study that shows a link between increased BPA levels in males and “decreased sexual desire, more difficulty having an erection, lower ejaculation strength and lower level of overall satisfaction with sex life.”   Girls, BPA does not discriminate.  It can lead to “heart disease, diabetes, recurrent miscarriages, oxidative stress and inflammation, & altered hormone levels.  Also, studies have found correlations between prenatal BPA ingestion and children’s aggression, delinquency, and hyperactivity. ”

Now, we have always told you to vet all sources, and I encourage you to do your own research.  BUT with the overwhelming pros so far, do you really want to be the one to risk the above cons? Let’s review:
Pros:

  • Mother Earth and surfers will thank you
  • Don’t ingest toxic BPA
  • Have more sex

Cons:

  • Create more global waste
  • Poison your body
  • Have less sex

This video was too freaking adorable so I had to post it! Love it when girls get excited about getting STRONG! Way to go, Pooja! Have fun in NY and hurry back!

Ocean kayaking and As Many Wipeouts As Possible!! Pictues to come soon.

Slept 2200-0645: 8.45 hrs. Word! Slept hard due to combat fishing expedition and yummy ice cream carb crash.

Huge recommendations for Jocko’s Restaurant and Doc Burnstein’s ice cream.
