Bicep Size Inflates Blood Pressure?

Can your blood pressure appear elevated if you have pythons for biceps? Or better yet, if your tricep has a tricep (ask Sean)? Because most medical offices carry a one-size-fits-all blood pressure cuff, the answer is yes! Those of you of the Hans and Frans physique would do well to ask your doctors/nurses to use the “large” cuff to take your BP, or your big guns will induce a false high BP reading.

Check out this link for more info. Basically, if you measure your biceps (admit it, you all have at one time, guys!) and it’s over close to 13 inches, it’s worth making it known before you get scolded by your medical professional.

There hasnt been a BP cuff made that could corral Sean’s guns… or his gun’s guns.

I just measured, because I never have. And now I know why I always wear sleeveless tops. And I will ask for the large size now. *sigh* =D

i bet they have to use a veterinary BP cuff. The kind they use for horses, rhinos and the like…
