I was there too. :) We did 1x5 DL and then the WOD was 10-8-6-4-2 Snatch (95#/50#) alternating with 25-20-15-10-5 PSU. Michelle finished in 8:16 and I did 9:07. It's fun to travel and see lots of CF gyms. It always makes us thankful that we belong to CFI. There are some nice gyms and really nice people, and some not so nice gyms, but none of them measure up to CFI. The trainer and people at CF Oakland were super nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend that anyone traveling in the Oakland/Berkeley area drop in for a workout. But they are rather unfriendly to CF newbies. We wanted to bring our friends from Berkeley to check it out, but they don't let newbies try a workout before starting On-Ramp. They only let newbies watch. Really??? Boooo!!! I'm glad CFI let's new people come in and give CF a try. I wont even describe the experience at the other CF gym up here because I know Ruth wouldn't want comments on our blog ripping other boxes. But the point is.....Michelle and I feel even more thankful and appreciative for our awesome trainers and friends at CFI. Hope you guys have a great weekend. See y'all Monday!! Strategery: 5 reps on the minute for 2 rounds, then just tried to hang on from there. - It gets heavy quick. missed 1 jerk, squatted mad deep, so it took a bit out of me. Good luck Intrepids!
