If you haven’t been by the office/Intrepid Store/injured folks lair lately, chances are you haven’t seen the pile of books on loan to us from Coach Alia.  Some of the titles are Everyday Paleo, Primal Blueprint and my favorite Practical Paleo.  There are a ton of easy, tasty recipes from the latter.  So far I’ve tried Hayley’s Skirt Steak Tacos, Sage Roasted Turkey Legs, Chorizo Meatballs, Quick & Easy Salmon Cakes, and the Spaghetti Squash Bolognese.  So if you are looking to increase your arsenal of Paleo friendly recipes or just looking for some new flavors to try, be sure to check them out.

Another Paleo recipe book that will be hitting book shelves soon is Gather, the Art of Paleo Entertaining written by Bill Stayley and Hayley Mason of primalpalate.com.  If you enjoy entertaining friends and family and would like to do so while maintaining and promoting a healthier lifestyle, I recommend checking out this book.  It includes elegant meal spreads with shopping lists and tips on hosting your event, from lavish holiday parties to easy Sunday brunch with friends.  While the title won’t be released till April 30, you can pre-order your copy here.  Otherwise, I have one on order and will bring it in to the office for you to check out.

We would also like to give a shout out to Tom D. who will be running in the 2013 Challenge Cup Baker to Vegas Relay this weekend.  Good luck Tom!  Hopefully it won’t be too hot out there!

Kick ass out there Tom! Stay hydrated!

Side Note: One of our runners sprain his ankle and had to drop out of our Ragnar race next week. If anyone is interested in taking his spot let me know.

The spot is #2 covering 20.6 miles from 4/19 and 4/20.

Thanks for all the support. Luckily my run is at 9 pm so the weather should be nice.

Brian, thanks for the tip it just might help. You can not be no repped during a run, or can you?
