Half Chicken with Double Steamed Veggies

Half Chicken with Double Steamed Veggies

Chicken D’s on Main Street is a great choice for a quick healthy salad or rotisserie chicken meal.  Their Fattoush salad (sans croutons) made of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, crushed mint, radishes, and green onions is wonderfully refreshing and tossed in a lemon garlic dressing.  Their chicken is also quite delicious and they come with a choice of sides.  To stay Paleo, stick with the steamed veggies and baba ganoush.

If you just did Filthy Fifty and are famished, the Veggie Special (add chicken, hold Parmesan, and rice) is a gigantic helping of steamed broccoli, squash, and other such veggies that will definitely fill you up.

The hardest part of dining there is giving the non-Paleo grubbers the stink eye as they devour the Mediterranean Fries that look and smell ridiculously yummy.   Take a look at their menu for some other ideas.  There are also locations in Redondo Beach, Torrance, South Torrance, Palos Verdes, and West LA.

A special thank you to our resident Paleo Police for providing this photo!!
