A friend of mine recently made me aware of a new documentary about nutrition that is getting some publicity. He got my attention when he mentioned that Robb Wolf is one of the people interviewed as part of the movie, as Robb Wolf is one of my main Paleo inspirations. Here’s the trailer for In Search of the Perfect Human Diet:

The premise of the documentary is that the narrator/host, CJ Hunt, took it upon himself to investigate how we humans would best be served nutritionally. From their website’s summary:

Travel through time and around the world with host CJ Hunt as he embarks on an unprecedented global exploration to find a solution to the exploding epidemic of overweight, obesity and diet-related disease.

What I found interesting is that CJ Hunt interviewed a rather wide variety of nutritional “experts” to get information. You will even see him attend a vegetarian conference to hear some of their stance and talking points.

The movie is a great starting point for those wondering why they might want to consider changing their diet. If you’ve done a Whole30, but not really known why we recommend that method — check out this documentary. There’s only so much I can cover on blog posts and I know some only skim the content to get to the workout anyway. Perhaps this movie will be a better vehicle for the information to get to you.

You can buy a DVD copy at their website or an HD copy via iTunes and also through many cable providers’ video-on-demand. Check their site for more details.

Also a reminder, tonight at 11pm is the cutoff for this month’s order with J&J Grassfed Beef. Get your order in now for delivery next Thursday! (Especially if you were one of the folks that committed to being among the first five…)

J&J order complete. We ordered extra ground beef that we’ll sell at price for those who want to try it before placing a larger order.
