Today is my last day down in Atlanta, GA and so far it has been a good trip barring any travel setbacks I may encounter on the flight home tonight. While I was in town I paid a visit to CrossFit Peachtree, a local box where my college buddy and his wife attend and they let me tag along for a WOD. The staff was welcoming, the workout was a good one (10 rds of Cindy with 1 heavy clean & jerk before each round), the facility was cool, and the people worked hard. Just like many of you who appreciate the opportunity to workout with other members of the CrossFit community while travelling, I think many of us have come to.appreciate that there’s no place like our home box, Intrepid.

It’s amazing when you think Intrepid has only been in existence for a little over a year, with the 1 year anniversary of our current location coming up in November. Although we are by no means the largest CrossFit gym around, we’ve managed to create a tight-knit group where everyone is supportive and egos are cast aside to facilitate our pursuit of excellence. As coaches we take pride in empowering our client base via education on movement, recovery, and nutrition and providing opportunities for you to excel and improve. It’s important to us, as coaches, to continually educate ourselves to quench your thirst for learning and to provide the best quality coaching possible. It is our goal that the quality and passion for coaching at Intrepid becomes its trademark, and that you are proud to say your home gym is CrossFit Intrepid, and there’s no place like home.

Anyone interested in running the Malibu Half Marathon November 14th? Michelle and I are running it. A friend has a Groupon for half off registration that is going to expire today. Unfortunately he can’t make it. He is not going to be in town. Shoot me an email if you’re interested… [email protected].

That explains the Jekyll & Hyde nature of Drew’s posts. One minute…such a nice guy….the next….JERK!!! Now the question is, which one is the REAL Drew and which one is Jenna? :)

Judging by her surly nature last night, I’d say Jenna is behind the jerk posts.

We need to get some Intrepid clothing gear soon so I can proudly show off my home turf.

Not sure if Holley has told you guys, but I lived at SpaceX prior to Intrepid. Didn’t even know there was sunlight or weekends. Since joining Intrepid, my overall mood has improved tenfold, I finally leave work with pep in my step, and now have a brand new, awesome family of friends. You guys rule.

Great post Sean! We’ll be glad to have you back too. I’m actually headed to Atlanta for a conference next week, maybe I’ll check out CrossFit Peachtree. I was worried that I was going to have to skip out on CrossFit for a week.

I hope to see some 7p girls at the 5K tonight, I don’t want to be the only girl running it again…
