Diego's Perfect Squat

Diego's Perfect Squat

Many people think of CrossFit as an elite fitness program only for hardcore athletes with six-pack abs, taut behinds, and rabid eyes.  While it isan elite program, it is an elite program for all walks of life.

Take the squat for example. The baseball catcher squats to improve his sport training; a elderly gentleman may squat to improve daily life and get up from a chair with greater ease; a new mother may squat to resurrect her skinny jeans from the back of the closet; and the average joe may squat just to beat his fellow gym-mate’s score in tabata squats.

Since the goals may be different for each person, the load (weight) and volume (reps) may also differ, the intensity and the sheer conviction in bettering ourselves remain the same.

The Ultimate CrossFitter:

Snatch 40kg – 50 – 50

Then 52.5kg – 50 – 50 with 31″ – 29″ – 29″

Ouch, MUCH tougher than it looked on paper.
